Khaberni - The staff of the Greater Amman Municipality, on Saturday, managed to return an amount of approximately 19,000 dinars to a citizen, after it was lost due to being mistakenly thrown into a waste container.
According to the details of the incident, the citizen had left his house in the morning heading to his work, carrying several bags to throw in the nearby container, including a bag containing an amount of 18,900 dinars, before he threw all the bags without paying attention to their contents.
Just about five minutes later, the citizen realized the mistake, but the waste grinder had already reached the site, and emptied the container and left.
Immediately, the citizen contacted the Greater Amman Municipality to report the incident, then headed to the main building of the municipality, where its staff began taking the necessary actions, and requested the waste grinder to be brought to the municipality's headquarters.
During the unloading process of the grinder, the bag containing the money was found, and it was handed over to the citizen intact without any shortfall.
