Khaberni - On Wednesday, the kingdom will be affected by the extension of a low-pressure system centered south of Cyprus, creating cold weather in most areas, partly cloudy to cloudy occasionally, with rain showers at times in various regions of the kingdom including Aqaba city, according to the Meteorological Department report.

Rainfall is expected to be heavy at times and brief in some areas, accompanied by thunder and hail, potentially leading to flooding in valleys and low-lying areas. By nightfall, the chances of rain decrease, with the weather remaining cold and somewhat cloudy, and winds from the southwest moderate and gusty, stirring dust in the desert areas.

On Thursday, the influence of the low-pressure system deepens over the kingdom, with cold, cloudy, and rainy weather intermittently in the north, middle, and parts of the east and southwest of the kingdom. The rains are expected to be heavy in some areas, accompanied by lightning and thunder and hail.

The Meteorology warns of the formation of floods in valleys and low-lying areas and rising water levels, including the warnings for the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley areas, with winds from the southwest, moderate, and increasing occasionally, stirring dust in the desert areas.

On Friday, the weather remains cold and from partly cloudy to cloudy with rain showers from time to time in the western parts of the kingdom, potentially heavy in the morning hours in the central kingdom and parts of the southwestern regions. Gradually, with nighttime approaching, the showers weaken, with moderate northwest winds increasing occasionally.
