Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate warns of the weather depression expected to impact the Kingdom starting from tomorrow, Wednesday, where rain showers are expected intermittently in the north and central parts of the Kingdom and parts of the southwestern regions, gradually extending to the eastern areas. It is possible that the rains in the evening and night could be heavy periodically and accompanied by thunder and hailstorms.
The Directorate calls for taking the necessary precautionary measures through following the below advice and guidelines:
Avoid the edges of valleys, places where floods form, and low-lying areas including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea due to heavy rains, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.
Avoid areas of water accumulation and do not risk crossing the road whether on foot or by vehicle to avoid the danger of falling into them.
Be cautious while driving on roads expected to experience heavy rainfall.
Use heating devices safely, regardless of the type, do not refuel heaters while they are ignited, ensure proper ventilation for homes intermittently, and it is essential to turn them off when sleeping.
Be cautious due to the reduction in horizontal visibility caused by dust in desert areas and fog over high mountainous elevations and parts of the plains.
Do not hesitate to call the unified emergency phone number 911 if needed.
