Syrian singer Assala Nasri settled the controversy about her separation from her husband, Iraqi poet Faiq Hassan, confirming their relationship is fine.
Assala answered during television remarks on the sidelines of her concert in Dubai, when asked about her husband's absence, saying, "Faiq my husband isn't with me because we are busy, each of us with our work, and people have become harsh, and I tell them stop spreading rumors."
Assala, addressing her audience reproachfully, said: "I love them and defend them, why do you do this? Thank God, we are doing fine and may God protect us and you from harm."
