Khaberni - Local markets saw a noticeable improvement in the demand for winter clothing at the end of last month, coinciding with the disbursement of salaries for employees of both the public and private sectors, as confirmed by the deputy of the Garment, Footwear, and Fabric Merchants' Syndicate, Nadhir Natsha.
Natsha explained that purchasing activity notably revived with the alignment of salary payments with “Black Friday” promotions, contributing to a good increase in sales percentages. However, he noted that demand has declined again in the last two days compared to the peak of interest recorded at the end of the month, according to opinion.
Natsha estimated the volume of clothing imports for the current winter season at about 20 million dinars, compared to 25 million dinars during the last season.
