Khaberni - The case of Moroccan artist Saad Lamjarred, accused of assaulting a girl inside a Paris hotel, has developed significantly after additional parties became involved in the file with the emergence of recordings, communications, and illegal financial offers that have brought the case back to the forefront after years of controversy.

Ridwan Bouzid, the manager of Saad Lamjarred, revealed that significant events occurred last December, when he received a call from a woman named "Aida" who claimed to be close to Laura Prioul, the original case's plaintiff explaining that she offered him to pay 3 million dollars in exchange for "Laura's" absence from the sessions and modifying her statements, a move considered a crime punishable by French law.

Bouzid added in media statements, that he began recording all communications and messages after repeated contacts, then requested a meeting attended by Laura or her mother to verify the woman's representation of the plaintiff.

The meeting indeed took place, and it turned out that Aida is a lawyer, and Laura's mother attended the meeting with her, confirming that he documented the entire conversation and saw clear indicators of attempted extortion, which prompted him and Lamjarred's lawyer to go to court and present the evidence.

As the investigation widened, authorities revealed that this file also involves a famous influencer on social media and her brother, who are suspected of being involved in part of the extortion attempts.

The events of the case go back to 2016, when Frenchwoman Laura Prioul accused Saad Lamjarred of assaulting her in a Paris hotel, leading to a prolonged legal dispute through successive sessions and appeals, while the Moroccan singer remained adamant about his innocence, at a time when the French authorities classify the file as one of the sensitive cases that take a long time to resolve.
