Khaberni - On behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, Minister of Labor Dr. Khaled Bakkar sponsored the launch of the National Labor Conference, "Toward a Fair and Inclusive Agenda for Women in Jordan," organized by the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions, in cooperation with the International Labour Organization.
The conference sessions were held over 3 days with the participation of representatives from the three production parties: the government, employers, and workers, as well as experts in international labor standards, specialists in labor issues, official institutions, and civil society organizations.
Her Excellency spoke: "The conference is an opportunity to formulate practical recommendations that contribute to protecting women's rights, supporting their economic participation, and opening new doors for a stable and fair professional future. It remains our collective responsibility, as a government, unions, civil society organizations, and employers, to ensure that the outcomes do not remain on paper, but transform into clear action plans that translate into tangible reality.
And talking about fair wages, equal opportunities, and social protection is not just a luxury or a theoretical headline, but it is an economic, social, and national necessity. Empowering women is not an option, but a real lever for development, and an integral part of the economic and administrative modernization vision led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God preserve him.
