Khaberni - A teacher was killed this morning, November 23, as a result of being targeted by gunfire from unknown gunmen in Kahil town, eastern Daraa governorate, according to Syrian news.
The channel added that the teacher, Samah Sami Zoubi, was subjected to gunfire by unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle near the road leading to the town of Taybeh, while she was heading to her job at one of the town's schools.
It explained that the relevant authorities continue their investigations to work on identifying the perpetrators and arresting them, and taking legal actions against them.
The Daraa area in Syria has witnessed many similar incidents in the recent period, where the Syrian internal security forces deployed in several neighborhoods of Tafas city, west of Daraa, to control security and stability, following the killing of a Syrian citizen by unknown gunmen a few days ago.
