Khaberni - "Come and try it yourselves," with this phrase, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Yazan Al-Khudeir, extended his invitation to tourists from various global markets to visit Jordan during an interview he conducted with "Reuters", one of the most important global news agencies, while participating in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, where he said, "If you are looking for authenticity, hospitality, a welcoming people, human connection, and a destination characterized by unique cultural distinction, then I believe Jordan is your ideal destination. Come and try it yourselves."
He revealed during the interview that Jordanian tourism has experienced significant recovery and growth, explaining that the strategy of diversifying tourism markets towards the GCC countries, Asia, India, and Africa has contributed to facing regional challenges. Visitor numbers increased by 15% during the period from January to September, and Petra achieved a 100% rise in the number of visitors.
