Khaberni - The artist Ragheb Alama broke his silence, affirming his respect for Fadel Shaker's voice and emphasizing that the solution to his legal crisis begins with him surrendering himself to Lebanese justice.
After his name was circulated in connection with the case of the artist Fadel Shaker and allegations that he was benefiting from Shaker's absence from the scene to ensure his own success, the artist Ragheb Alama decided to respond clearly and put an end to the rumors.
Ragheb Alama appeared in a television interview stating that he had given sincere advice to Fadel Shaker from the beginning of the crisis, urging him to surrender himself to the judicial authorities so he could emerge from the situation he is in.
Alama stated that some people misinterpreted his statements and accused him of hatred, while his true aim was to help Fadel Shaker overcome the crisis through the correct legal path.
He pointed out that he distinguishes between the artist whose voice he loves and appreciates, and the person involved in a sensitive case he does not wish to delve into details about, emphasizing at the same time his respect for the Lebanese judiciary, which he considers the natural refuge for anyone seeking to end their legal ordeal.
Ragheb Alama's statements come amid the judicial developments related to Fadel Shaker, as the Military Court has set a trial date in four cases linked to accusations including belonging to an armed organization, funding it, supporting the group of Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir, in addition to possession of unlicensed weapons and undermining the state's prestige, accusations which the Lebanese artist denies.
