Education More than 131000 Participants in the High School Supplemental Session

Khaberni - The Ministry of Education announced that the number of students who have applied to participate in the supplemental session of the General Secondary Education Certificate Exam "Tawjihi" for the academic years 2025-2026 reached 131,234 students, according to the director of examinations and assessments in the ministry, Mohammad Shehadeh.

According to Shehadeh, the applicants included 14,658 students aiming to improve their average, and 79,190 students looking to complete the requirements for passing.

He indicated that the number of eleventh-grade students who applied reached 37,386.

Shehadeh confirmed that the format and procedures of the exams during the supplemental session will be identical to those of the previous summer session without any changes.

The first exam session will start on Saturday, December 27, 2025, and end on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The first daily session begins at 11:00 AM, while the second session starts at 2:00 PM.

The Ministry of Education had announced the opening of registration for the supplemental exam for the year 2025 starting from Monday, October 13, 2025, to Thursday, October 23, 2025, emphasizing no extension will be given for accepting applications beyond this date.

The ministry clarified that registration takes place online via the website www.exams.moe.gov.jo, and Jordanian students can pay the participation fees through the "eFAWATEERcom" service without the need to visit the directorates.

Non-Jordanian students must visit the examinations section in the education directorates they belong to, submitting two recent personal photos and completing the registration and payment processes within the specified period.

The ministry detailed that the registration fee is 20 Jordanian Dinars, with an additional 10 Dinars for each subject consisting of one paper, and 5 Dinars for every paper in subjects that consist of two papers.

It also confirmed that the prescribed textbooks for the 2025 supplemental exam are the regular student textbooks for the 2024/2025 academic year (textbooks for students born in 2007 and 2008).
