Khaberni - Today, Ambassador Amjad Al-Momani submitted his credentials to Mahmoud Ali Yousef, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, as the Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the African Union, during a ceremony held at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa.
Ambassador Al-Momani conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Mahmoud Ali Yousef, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, stressing Jordan's keenness on strengthening cooperation with the African Union and enhancing coordination on issues of mutual interest.
In turn, Yousef asked to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, wishing the Kingdom and the people of Jordan continued progress and prosperity, emphasizing the importance of the Kingdom's role in supporting the international work system and contributing to achieving the goals of development, peace, and security.
Senior officials from the African Union attended the credentials presentation ceremony.
