Khaberni - Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbeer confirmed that the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the factories of Hajj Mahmoud Habiba Sweets, Paradise Bakery and the International Pharmaceutical Company belonging to Axentia Pharmaceutical Industries Group is a strong message of support for the industrial sector, embodying the Royal High faith in the role of Jordanian industry in supporting the national economy and providing job opportunities.
Al-Jaghbeer added that the visit represents a clear message of support for the industrial sector, enhancing investor confidence in the Kingdom's industrial environment, opening the door to more focus on high-value-added manufacturing industries, innovation in manufacturing, and expanding exports to regional and international markets.
Al-Jaghbeer explained that the royal visits to the factories reflect a deep belief in the role of Jordanian industry in overcoming challenges, achieving self-sufficiency, contributing to boosting exports, enhancing growth, and confirming the strategic position of the industrial sector as a key driver of economic growth and a fundamental pillar in developing national exports and creating job opportunities for Jordanians, highlighting the sector's significant role in implementing the economic modernization vision on the ground.
Al-Jaghbeer pointed out that the King's directives to successive governments, to give the industrial sector the attention it deserves, through supporting its competitiveness and addressing the challenges it faces, have resulted in several governmental decisions, the latest of which is the decision involving amendments to the customs tariff schedules, which is a continuation of its last decisions that aim to enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian industry in the domestic and export markets.
