The Central Bank Issues Treasury Bonds Worth 200 Million Dinars Due in 2029

Khaberni -  On behalf of the government, the Jordanian Central Bank will issue this Wednesday, the seventh release of the current year of treasury bonds valued at 200 million dinars.

According to the bank’s data, the maturity date for the current issue is February 12, 2029, while the bank noted that the settlement date is set for February 12, 2026.

Treasury bonds are financing tools with long-term maturities ranging between two and twenty years, and they vary between government/treasury bonds and those issued by companies.

Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for terms ranging from 3 to 12 months, characterized as low-risk financial instruments that are actively traded in the financial markets through buying and selling.
