Khaberni - Turkish star Beren Saat returns to cinema after a 12-year hiatus, through her new movie "The Secret File," scheduled for release on December 19, 2025.
The film features direction by directors Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay, and brings together Beren Saat with several Turkish stars such as Gamze Karaduman, Yiğit Özşener, and Furkan Andıç.
"The Secret File" explores the relationship between two women based on strength, trust, and identity. The main character, Renjin, is a famous investigative journalist who enters into an agreement with Zeyno during her investigation of a major subject, while keeping her identity secret.
It's notable that Zeyno's completely different lifestyle and environment from Renjin's usual life create a bond between them that combines strength and fragility, and this connection evolves into a personal confrontation for Renjin that impacts her professional and personal life.
Beren Saat's return to the cinema is a significant event after her last appearance on the big screen in the movie "A Small September Affair" in 2013, which has excited her fans and lovers of Turkish cinema.
According to reports, the filming process has been completed, and the project has moved into the editing phase in preparation for the expected release.
