Khaberni - The Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company revealed the value of checks in the electronic clearing system during the third quarter of the current year reached 10.56 billion Dinars.
In the same regard, the report issued by the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company titled Quarterly Report on Payment Systems–Third Quarter 2025 showed that the number of checks during that period also reached 1.61 million checks, while the number of returned checks during the same period reached 49 thousand checks.
As for the value of the returned checks, the report revealed that it reached 268.6 million Dinars in the third quarter of this year, representing a decrease in value from what it was in the second quarter of the same year, which recorded their arrival at 324.9 million Dinars.
It is noted in the report that the value of checks in the second quarter of 2025 reached 9.92 billion Dinars, with a count reaching 1.59 million checks, while the count of returned checks was 56.9 thousand checks.
