Khaberni - The prominent composer Omar Khairat was transferred to one of the major hospitals in Cairo following a sudden health crisis, necessitating his prevention from continuing his artistic activities for the current period.
Omar Khairat's media office explained in an official statement released a short while ago the details of his health condition. The statement clarified that Omar Khairat would like to offer his sincere apologies to his fans and those awaiting his upcoming concerts for not being able to hold them on the scheduled dates for health reasons, confirming that his condition is stable, and that doctors have advised him to take a rest period to recover his health, necessitating the postponement of his artistic commitments during this period.
The statement added that the great composer appreciates the love of his audience and their continuous support, and promised to return soon to revitalize his concerts in a manner befitting his artistic stature and his audience who adore music.

According to local media sources, the transfer of Omar Khairat to the hospital came after he experienced a sudden health crisis, which caused him to miss his last concert, with the medical team continuously monitoring his condition to provide the necessary care.
In an earlier time, Omar Khairat spoke about the beginning of his artistic career, pointing out that the late Faten Hamama was his gateway to the world of film music. He explained during television statements: "I was playing the piano in a restaurant, and by coincidence, Mrs. Faten Hamama was there, and a week later she met me and offered me a musical opportunity, it was work for major poets and for me it was like dewdrops."

Regarding the truth of the dispute with the Egyptian Opera House due to the increase in ticket prices for his concerts, Omar Khairat said: "I was upset when the opera raised the prices of my tickets without informing me, art is for everyone and not just for a specific group, and the opera is responsible for educating the audience, and as for me, providence and money, God sends it any time, and duty is something else."
