Khaberni - A tragic incident in Diwaniyah Governorate, southern Iraq, resulted in the deaths of five members of one family, due to the use of prohibited substances, according to official investigations.
A security source revealed that one of the drug users had killed four members of his family.
The source explained to local media that "the suspect shot his mother, father, and his brother's pregnant wife."
Following the incident, his brother intervened and ended the life of the perpetrator, bringing the total number of victims from the family to five.
The source also noted that the perpetrator had been released from prison several months earlier and was under the influence of prohibited substances at the time of the crime.
