Khaberni - The General Authority of Meteorology warns of unstable weather conditions tomorrow, Wednesday, expecting varying intensities of rain that may reach thunderous levels in several governorates of the Republic.
The Authority clarified that the chances of rain include large areas including the northern coasts and some Delta governorates, as well as scattered areas of Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, with weather fluctuations continuing during the day.
It added that some areas will witness significant activity in wind movement, with speeds ranging between 30 and 50 km/h, and these may be loaded with dust and sand, leading to a decrease in horizontal visibility on a number of roads.
The meteorological authority pointed to the formation of thunderclouds accompanied by descending air that may cause visibility to deteriorate to less than 500 meters in some areas, with the possibility of hailstones falling and occurrences of lightning and thunder.
It also warned of the accumulation of rainwater in some areas, and advised caution while driving, and to avoid standing under trees, billboards, and unstable structures during periods of weather activity.
The Authority emphasized that this weather condition requires adherence to safety procedures until the weather stabilizes and returns to normal levels.
