Khaberni - Iraqi artist Shatha Hassoun launched a sharp attack on Moroccan artist Basma Bousil, after the latter expressed her displeasure with her interference in her personal life, and commenting on some of her decisions without prior knowledge.
The story began when Shatha Hassoun was a guest on a talk show last Ramadan, and she explained her opinion on Basma Bousil's reaction after her divorce from star Tamer Hosny.
Shatha said that Basma Bousil acted like an angry woman, noting that she is a talented, good, and nice person, but she lacks life experience. She graduated from Star Academy, got married, then had children, and did not face real problems that would give her this experience, which seems to have displeased Basma who chose to remain silent at the time.
For her part, Basma Bousil criticized in a recent television interview, the intervention of some celebrities in her life, explaining that she did not ask anyone’s opinion on her private life, and about Shatha Hassoun she said that her comment was not important or useful, emphasizing that she does not have any friendship with her, nor did she ask for her opinion in the first place, and everything she said means nothing to her.
On her part, Shatha Hassoun appeared in a video circulating on social media, expressing her regret for every positive word she said about the Moroccan artist, emphasizing that she did not criticize her, but had praised her, and yet faced an undeserved attack.
She added that she met Basma in the backstage of the competition show "Star Academy" while the latter was sharing the singing with her as a chorus within the program that hosted her based on her great stardom at that time.
She noted that she has Moroccan origins, and therefore she made sure to praise Basma in front of the audience, but the idea she confirmed after her reaction is that the latter "is lost and just a shadow of another person."
