Khaberni - According to the Hebrew site "Ynet," today, Sunday, the Israeli Shin Bet arrested a couple from Kiryat Yam, and they will be charged with spying for Iran, as they transmitted images of sensitive sites.
The site reported that "in October last year, the Shin Bet and the police arrested Shimon Azar, 27, from Kiryat Yam and his partner, on suspicion of committing 'security offenses related to contacts with Iranian intelligence officials and carrying out security tasks under their supervision'."
According to the site, Azar is suspected of having transmitted images of sensitive sites in Israel to Iranian intelligence officials.
The investigation revealed that "Azar's wife, who serves in the reserve forces, assisted him in obtaining information about the Israeli military and air force bases."
It is expected that an indictment will be filed today in the Central Court in Haifa against the couple.
