AlSisi affirms We reject any efforts to displace the Palestinian people from their land

Khaberni - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi emphasized the absolute rejection of any efforts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land, pointing to the necessity of initiating the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

This was stated during a phone call with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain today, Thursday, where the call discussed the latest developments in regional situations, especially the developments in the Gaza Strip.

The official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Mohamed El-Sharnoubi, affirmed that President Sisi and the King of Bahrain emphasized the necessity of full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip, ensuring the urgent and unimpeded access of humanitarian aid, in addition to the necessity of starting the reconstruction process in the Strip to ensure the return of normal life for its residents.

The full implementation of the Trump peace plan
President Sisi and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also emphatically rejected any efforts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land, stressing that the Palestinian issue will remain a priority in Arab and international interests. They also agreed on the importance of fully implementing the peace plan of U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Security Council Resolution 2803, as a framework for achieving just and comprehensive peace.

The official spokesperson added that the Egyptian President and the King of Bahrain agreed to continue contacts and coordination on issues of mutual concern, especially under the difficult conditions that the region is going through, which would enhance Arab unity and serve the interests of its peoples.

Rejection of changing the geographical and demographic status quo
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati also affirmed today, Thursday, Egypt's absolute rejection of any calls that target the displacement of Palestinians or alter the geographical and demographic status of the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, Abdel Ati emphasized during a phone call with the Secretary-General of the United Nations the importance of proceeding with steps to form a Palestinian technocrat committee, in preparation for the return of the Palestinian Authority to the Gaza Strip, expressing the importance of joint efforts to increase the volume of humanitarian aid entering the Strip daily to meet the needs of the residents.

Abdel Ati also emphasized the importance of continuing coordination with regional and international partners to support the rights of the Palestinian people and enable them to exercise their right to self-determination and establish their independent state.

The Egyptian minister stressed the importance of complying with the implementation of Security Council Resolution 2803 and the unrestricted flow of humanitarian aid, discussing ongoing consultations for deploying an international stabilization force in the Strip.
