Khaberni - The Internal Security Directorate in Syria arrested two individuals who raised symbols of the former regime on their mobile phones, photographed them, and posted them on social media during the official celebrations of the liberation anniversary.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that this behavior is considered a provocation to the society and an attempt to promote the ideas of the defunct regime.
The ministry immediately commenced legal proceedings against them, and they were referred to the judiciary to take the necessary actions according to the law.
The Ministry of Interior warned against any attempts to revive the symbols of the former regime or promote its ideas, whether through digital means or in public places, affirming that it will take all legal measures against anyone who violates the laws or attempts to offend the feelings of the Syrians and their sacrifices.
