Khaberni - A video clip from the "Miss Universe 2025" competition, which was circulated in the last few hours, sparked widespread controversy after Miss Israel was seen casting hostile looks towards Miss Palestine, Nadine Ayoub, during one of the official events of the competition.
The Israeli contestant, Melanie Shiraz, faced a campaign of criticism and abuse online because of the circulated video, which led her to assert that she "was not staring hostilely" at Miss Palestine.
She added that she was "shocked by the reactions," claiming that the clip "was taken out of context."
