Jordanians Mock a Paper Newspaper Sale Offer

Khaberni - Jordanians widely mocked the story of a newspaper seller in the capital Amman who made a humorous offer to persuade a "Khaberni" car driver to buy a copy of the newspaper.
According to witnesses, a driver stopped at a traffic light in Amman and felt pity for an elderly newspaper seller, so he asked for a copy of the newspaper to which the seller replied (Take 5 copies for one dinar).
Paper press in Jordan has succumbed to a significant decline in printing and distribution, reaching modest numbers, according to observers.
The Jordanian Social Security continues to invest in two newspapers despite their declining shares amid government dominance in their appointments and publishing policies.
