Acting Director of Meteorology Expects Rain Showers in Jordan

Khaberni - The acting director-general of meteorology, Abdulmunem Al-Qaralh, predicts that rain showers will fall on various parts of the kingdom by the end of this week.

Al-Qaralh said in a television statement, on Monday evening, that the rain showers will occur during a period of atmospheric instability that will last from two to three days, and will particularly affect the northern and central regions of the kingdom.

He explained that autumn rains constitute 12% of the rainy season, with 9% occurring in November, noting that there are still hopes for this month especially as Jordan awaits a period of atmospheric instability.

He clarified that the period of instability will start light and modest on Thursday, before deepening on Friday and Saturday.
