Khaberni - The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites called on citizens to perform the rain prayer (Salat al-Istisqa) next Friday, in all regions of the kingdom, reviving the noble prophetic tradition.
The ministry said in a press release today, Monday, that Minister of Awqaf Dr. Muhammad Khalaileh has instructed directors of Awqaf across the kingdom, as well as imams and preachers, to hold the rain prayer after the Friday prayer. Khalaileh also urged the community to increase in seeking forgiveness, repentance, giving charity, fasting, redressing wrongs, maintaining family ties, and other good deeds.
