Khaberni - Yahya Al-Omari, the director of the Health and Environmental Affairs Department in the Greater Irbid Municipality, stated that the municipality had notified 2032 establishments within the municipal boundaries during the past month of September.
Al-Omari added on Friday that the municipality issued health violations against 390 establishments within its boundaries, while the number of field visits reached 2799, and 6 establishments were closed.
He explained that the department received 36 complaints which were addressed, while 41 establishments and individuals were referred to the governor for legal and administrative action, noting that the department continues to intensify its inspection campaigns through the Health Inspection and Markets Departments.
