Young Men and Women Participate in Jordans First Drone Race

Khaberni - Sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal Al-Mu'azzam, may God protect him, the Jordanian drone company HoverUp launches from the heart of the Dead Sea – the lowest point on the face of the Earth – the first (FPV Drone) race in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This pioneering event aims to place Jordan on the map of global tech sports and open new horizons for Jordanian youth to compete in the sports of the future, by enhancing their skills in autonomous flying and control technologies, according to global standards that combine speed, precision, and creativity.

"HoverU Race": An experience that combines the real and the virtual world
Fifty young men and women, selected among more than 850 applicants aged 14 and above, participate in the race.

The first stage of the competition commenced at the King Hussein Business Complex (The ARC) using professional flight simulators to prepare the contestants for the finals that will take place on a real drone racetrack in the Dead Sea area on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4 PM until 9 PM.
