Khaberni - U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance affirmed that Israel will not annex the West Bank, stressing the commitment of the United States to support the durability of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Vance stated in press remarks that Israel and Hamas are adhering to the agreement despite some exceptions, clarifying that the agreement remains intact, and that Washington is working with the Israeli government to ensure its continuation.
The U.S. Vice President added that the United States will not deploy its forces in the Gaza Strip, affirming that Washington's message to the Israeli side was the necessity to maintain the ceasefire agreement and to refrain from steps that could threaten stability, in a reference to the rejection of annexing the West Bank.
