Khaberni - The Iranian capital, Tehran, and surrounding areas witnessed simultaneous explosions this Thursday evening amidst intense activity of air defense systems, according to official Iranian media reports.
Official media mentioned hearing the sound of explosions in Tehran and the city of Karaj, coinciding with movements of air defenses, while Iranian reports indicated an explosion in the Shahr-e Rey area south of the capital.
Meanwhile, "Fars" agency stated that American-Israeli raids targeted several locations in Tehran this evening, adding that among the targets was the vicinity of Mehrabad Airport in the Iranian capital.
Informed American sources revealed that military escalation against Tehran could significantly increase if no progress is made in the talks, noting that military operations might also escalate if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed by the Iranian side, as reported by "Axios" this Thursday.
