Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate continues to carry out its awareness and preventive campaign for inspecting vehicle safety during the winter season, which included distributing informational brochures to drivers in all provinces of the kingdom, and explaining the campaign's objectives focused on the importance of taking necessary measures to ensure vehicle readiness for facing the challenges of the winter season.
The campaign will start at the beginning of next month, to ensure the suitability of vehicles and their readiness for traveling on roads during the winter, and to ensure the availability of essential safety elements in them.
The campaign includes the inspection of vehicles and their inspection through patrols deployed on both internal and external roads, and vehicles that pass the inspection will be given a sticker to be placed on the windshield as proof of their readiness, while a notification (without a penalty) will be given for a week to correct the conditions of vehicles suffering from any technical malfunction and to complete the deficiencies related to public safety.
The Public Security Directorate calls on citizens to cooperate with the campaign teams, follow the guidelines and instructions, and perform the necessary periodic maintenance of their vehicles, to ensure their safety and the safety of others during the winter season.
