Khaberni - Channel 14 Hebrew reported an explosion in an engineering vehicle belonging to the Israeli occupation army in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, which prompted a wide military alert and the summoning of helicopters to the site.
The channel added that a number of injured soldiers were transported from the area, while Hebrew sources reported the death of a soldier in the incident, whereas platforms affiliated with the settlers reported the death of two soldiers in the same security event.
Following the explosion, Channel 14 reported that the Israeli Air Force launched raids on targets in the Rafah area, claiming to respond to a ceasefire violation, while the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation confirmed that the raids came after an exchange of fire between the army and gunmen in the area.
