Major Decline in the Ranking of Jordanians in the Happiness Index

Khaberni - Exclusive

The ranking of Jordanians in the happiness index prepared by Gallup Global witnessed a significant decline in 2024 among the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.
Jordan occupied the 15th position out of 18 countries included in the index comparison, as monitored by Khaberni, scoring 4.31 (out of 10).
Jordan recorded a decline of 1.104 points since 2012, the largest decline among the 18 countries, after Lebanon.
The occupying state ranked first, followed by the UAE, then Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Libya, Algeria, Turkey, Iran, then Iraq, the Palestinian National Authority, Morocco, Tunisia, then Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, and finally Lebanon.
