Khaberni - Initiated by the Committee on Labor, Social Development, and Population, 6 parliamentary committees will hold a comprehensive meeting on Monday afternoon in the House of Representatives to explore the phenomenon of the spread of stray dogs and discuss practical and effective solutions to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain a safe environment in different areas of the kingdom.

In addition to the Labor Committee, the meeting will include the Health, Environment, and Food Committee, the Agriculture and Water Committee, the Environment and Climate Committee, the Woman and Family Affairs Committee, and the Rural and Bedouin Affairs Committee. Invitations have been extended to the Minister of Local Administration, the Mayor of Amman, the Minister of Environment, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Interior, and the Minister of Agriculture.

The head of the Committee on Labor, Social Development, and Population, Deputy Moataz Abu Roman, said that "the phenomenon of the spread of stray dogs has become more dangerous after an increase in biting incidents in several provinces," which has raised concerns among residents for the safety of their children, school students, and employees, especially during the early morning and evening hours, amid repeated complaints about the absence of effective field solutions to curb the spread of stray dogs.

It is expected that the meeting will conclude with clear recommendations that include joint procedures between the ministries, municipalities, and concerned institutions to ensure a systematic and practical approach to finding solutions to this phenomenon.
