Khaberni - Six specialized parliamentary committees in the House of Representatives announced a joint meeting to discuss the phenomenon of stray dogs in the streets of the kingdom.

The committees set Monday, October 13 as the date for the meeting.

The participating committees are the Committee on Labor, Social Development and Population, the Committee on Health, Environment and Food, the Committee on Agriculture and Water, the Committee on Environment and Climate, the Committee on Women and Family Affairs, and the Committee on Rural and Badia Affairs.

The meeting aims to explore the causes of the spread of stray dogs, and discuss effective and practical solutions to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain a safe environment for residents in various regions of the kingdom.

Deputy Bayan Al-Mahasiri affirmed the continued follow-up on this issue until a comprehensive and fundamental solution is reached, indicating that she had previously submitted a proposal memorandum to the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and Climate, which raised its recommendations to the government after discussing the topic in the previous April of this year.
