Khaberni - The siblings of the late Abdel Karim Damisi - brother of former MP Qusai Damisi -, issued a statement on Tuesday concerning the incident where their brother was killed by their other brother Raed Damisi, confirming that what happened was due to personal disagreements that neither justify nor explain this painful act.

With hearts filled with sorrow and grief, we, the siblings of the departed Abdel Karim Damisi (Abu Ahmad) and his children, denounce the unfortunate incident perpetrated by their brother (Raed Damisi), which resulted in the demise of their brother Abdel Karim – may God have mercy on him – stemming from personal disagreements that neither justify nor explain this painful act.
We affirm that we, as brothers and children, are bound by ties of love and brotherhood that cannot be impacted by individual regrettable behaviors. Thus, we declare our total commitment to abiding by the law and respecting judicial procedures, believing that justice is the best way to right wrongs and protect life.
We also urge all our loved ones and fellow citizens of our dear country not to misinterpret the incident or attribute to it undue causes or motives that stray from the truth, out of respect and consideration for all our feelings in this painful loss.
May God have mercy on our departed Abdel Karim and grant him paradise, and verily we belong to God and to Him we shall return.
