Khaberni - The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, revealed an initiative to establish technical inspection stations for vehicles within government service centers
During its meeting today, Monday, led by MP Moatez Abu Roman, the Parliamentary Committee for Social Development and Population Affairs discussed the expansion of government service centers, in the presence of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, and the Ministry's Secretary-General, Samira Al-Za'abi.
Abu Roman emphasized that digital transformation and the automation of government services have significantly contributed to reducing effort and time for citizens, noting that the committee aims to enhance cooperation with the government in addressing unemployment challenges and providing job opportunities for Jordanians.
On their part, the MPs, Abdel-Basit Kabariti, Ayman Badadweh, Mohammad Mara'eyah, Issa Nassar, Yousef Rawajfeh, Abdel-Ra'uf Ribihat, Shifa'a Al-Muqabali, Bayan Al-Muhairi, Talal Al-Nasoor, and Abdel-Rahman Al-Awaysha, called for expanding the scope of the services provided at these centers to ease the process for citizens.
Samirat explained that the ministry has, to date, completed 80 percent of government services, noting that by the end of this year, comprehensive government service centers will be established in various governorates.
He clarified that these centers will provide job opportunities ranging between 29 to 32 positions in each center, operating from eight in the morning until midnight.
Samirat reviewed the hiring mechanism in these centers, stating that it is conducted through an open announcement allowing anyone who meets the required criteria to apply.
