The complex includes specialized clinics in dental treatment including the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, prosthetic and facial replacements, pediatric dentistry, endodontic treatment, restorative treatment, and diseases and surgery of the gums. It contains two operating rooms, a medical laboratory, a dental lab, a specialized radiology department, a central sterilization department, a medical pharmacy, and two clinics for individuals with special needs, in addition to three lecture halls.
The total area of the complex is 17,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 5,300 square meters, comprising two buildings; the first building serves the military and their families, and the second serves civilians, with a capacity of 61 clinics.
The establishment of the complex aims to provide distinctive quality service to dental patients across all specialties, and to relieve the burden on the King Hussein Medical City, as it has been equipped with the latest medical devices and technologies, and staffed by specialized teams able to serve all visitors, in line with the ongoing development plans of the Royal Medical Services.
The Royal Medical Services Directorate confirms that the dental clinics at the King Hussein Hospital, the Orthodontics Center at the King Hussein Medical Rehabilitation Center, and the dental department in the outpatient clinics have been terminated, noting that appointments have been transferred as they are to the new location while adhering to the previously scheduled dates and times.
