Khaberni - English actor Tim Curry, who gained widespread fame for his performances in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "Clue" and the short television series "It," has died at the age of eighty.
The Los Angeles Police reported that they responded to a death report of a man in his eighties in North Hollywood, at exactly 11:20 PM, on Tuesday night.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also confirmed that emergency teams arrived at the same address at exactly 10:42 PM, on Tuesday night, for an emergency medical situation involving an adult male, where he was declared deceased.
The direct cause of death was not immediately clear. Curry had suffered a severe stroke in 2012 and had been battling health issues since then.
Curry was famous for his skilled portrayal of characters and diverse roles, from arrogant Brits to cunning villains, having played the devil more than once.
He instantly caught the eye with his role as Doctor "Frank N. Furter" in the "Rocky Horror" film in 1975, and appeared with giant horns and a face red as a tomato, portraying the "Lord of Darkness" character in the fantasy film "Legend" in 1985, elevating this spontaneous performance beyond mere caricature.
