Khaberni - Within the framework of Amman Arab University's efforts to enhance partnerships with leading national institutions, the university, represented by its president Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, concluded a cooperation agreement with Al-Sharif Company for Vehicle Services, represented by its chairman Mr. Sharif Mahmoud Supervisor, to enhance the practical aspects for students through providing practical training programs supervised by specialized experts, in addition to giving students the opportunity to engage in real work environments that contribute to developing their professional skills. The agreement also includes organizing specialized training courses and workshops, and providing internship opportunities within the company, which enhances the readiness of graduates and increases their employment opportunities after graduation.
This agreement comes within the framework of Amman Arab University's efforts to build partnerships with the public and private sectors and align educational outputs with market needs. The university has consistently signed similar agreements to provide practical training and professional consultancy to students. The signing ceremony was attended by: Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology; Dr. Ahoud Khassawneh, Dean of the College of Business; Dr. Mu'tee Al-Shibly, Director of the Linking Unit to the Labor Market; Mr. Anas Kaso, Assistant Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at Amman Arab University; and from Al-Sharif Company for Vehicle Services, the Executive Director Mr. Sultan Baghdadi, Mr. Yinal Sharif, Director of Direct Operations, and Mr. Kamel Awni, Digital Marketing Manager.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Widian affirmed that this agreement comes in alignment with the university’s directions and the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission towards enhancing the quality of higher education outputs and aligning them with labor market needs through developing effective partnerships that prepare students with practical and technical skills required, noting that this cooperation enhances the role of academic programs, especially in the field of education, in line with international standards and fosters the integration of theoretical and practical aspects, which positively reflects on graduates' readiness and their ability to compete in the labor market locally and regionally. Dr. Al-Widian also pointed out that Amman Arab University greatly focuses on aligning its educational outputs with labor market requirements by focusing on practical training, encouraging innovation, and supporting applied scientific research that contributes to providing students with real experiences that qualify them for direct engagement in the work environment.
For his part, Mr. Sharif indicated that this agreement represents an important strategic step towards building a real partnership with Amman Arab University, emphasizing Al-Sharif Company for Vehicle Services' commitment to supporting the educational process through transferring their practical experiences to students and providing them the opportunity to acquire advanced practical skills within real work environments. He added that the company seeks through this cooperation to contribute to preparing qualified young professionals capable of meeting labor market requirements, enhancing the sector's efficiency, and keeping up with rapid developments in modern services and technologies, stressing the importance of investing in young talent as a fundamental pillar for sustainable development.
On his part, Dr. Al-Shibly emphasized the role of academic institutions in preparing human competencies capable of meeting labor market needs, stressing that scientific research and practical training are two fundamental pillars in developing students' skills and professional competence, which supports the state’s directions towards education based on knowledge, skills, and capabilities, explaining that this agreement represents a qualitative step towards enhancing the integration of academic education and practical application, indicating that the cooperation will provide advanced training and research opportunities for students, contributing to developing their practical skills and increasing their employment opportunities after graduation.
