Khaberni - In an effort to bolster partnerships with leading national institutions, the university, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, signed a cooperation agreement with Warsaw Consulting and Education Services Company, represented by its general manager Mr. Iyhab Theenat, to enhance the practical aspects for students by providing practical training programs supervised by specialized experts. This also includes giving students the opportunity to immerse themselves in real work environments that contribute to the development of their professional skills, organizing specialized training courses and workshops between both parties, and providing opportunities for field training within institutions, which enhances the readiness of graduates and raises their employment chances after graduation.
This agreement comes as part of Amman Arab University's efforts to build partnerships with both public and private sectors, and to link educational outcomes to market needs. The university has consistently signed similar agreements to provide practical training and professional consulting for students. The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Ahoud Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the Business Faculty, Dr. Mutie Al-Shibli, Director of the Job Market Linkage Unit, Mr. Anas Kasow, Assistant Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at Amman Arab University, and Miss Rania Theenat, Sales Manager at Warsaw Company.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Widian confirmed that this agreement is in line with the orientations of the university and the Higher Education Accreditation Commission's quality assurance towards enhancing the quality of higher education outputs and linking them to labor market needs through developing effective partnerships that help prepare students with the necessary practical and technical skills. He pointed out that this cooperation enhances the role of academic programs, especially in modern education fields, aligning with international standards and reinforcing the integration between theoretical and practical aspects, which positively reflects on graduates' readiness and their ability to compete in both local and regional labor markets. Dr. Al-Widian highlighted that the university pays great attention to aligning its educational outputs with the needs of vital sectors by focusing on practical training, encouraging innovation, and supporting applied scientific research that provides real experiences qualifying students for direct integration into the workforce.
Dr. Al-Hamd emphasized the importance of enhancing the role of academic institutions in preparing human competencies capable of meeting labor market needs, stressing that scientific research and practical training are two fundamental pillars in developing students' skills and improving their professional efficiency, contributing to the state's direction towards knowledge-based education focused on skills, abilities and capabilities.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Shibli pointed out that this agreement represents a significant step towards enhancing the integration between academic education and practical application, noting that cooperation will offer advanced training and research opportunities for students and faculty, contributing to the development of their practical skills and increasing their employment chances after graduation.
For his part, Mr. Theenat indicated that this agreement represents a real milestone towards building an effective strategic partnership with Amman Arab University, emphasizing Warsaw's commitment to transferring its practical and consulting experiences to students, empowering them to acquire advanced practical skills that keep pace with the rapidly changing job market requirements.
