Amman Arab University commemorates the eternal memory of AlKaramah and Jordanian Flag Day in a national scene embodying the mea

Khaberni - In an imposing national scene overflowing with pride and belonging, under the flag of glory stained with the heroics of Jordanians, and organized by the Dean of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, the university celebrated the anniversary of the eternal Battle of Al-Karamah and Jordanian Flag Day, an occasion that embodied the noblest meanings of dignity and loyalty to the homeland and its wise Hashemite leadership, under the patronage of Dr. Omar Mashhour Haditha al-Jazi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Amman Arab University, and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohannad Mubaideen, Director General of the Jordanian Hashemite Documentation Centre, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of the university, and several dignitaries, local community representatives, security agencies, Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Ismail Yamin, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Nadia Al-Qudimat, Assistant President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Deans of the faculties, academic and administrative staff, and a host of students.

In this regard, Dr. Al-Jazi expressed his pride in this occasion, affirming that the Battle of Al-Karamah was a pivotal day in the history of Jordan and the Arab nation, where the Arab Army wrote the most magnificent epics of heroism, breaking the myth of the invincible army, recalling the heroisms of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, and the role of the first brigade led by the deceased Major General Mashhour Haditha Al-Jazi in confronting the aggression and foiling its plans and inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, pointing out that this battle embodied the strength of faith in the homeland, and dignity is not just a slogan, but a stance made with sacrifices, noting that this memory represents a source of pride for every Jordanian citizen, and embodies the noblest meanings of belonging and pride, confirming that love for the homeland is not born by accident, but is instilled from a young age and built in the embrace of the family, growing with a person and establishing as a behavior and responsibility, and Dr. Al-Jazi added that celebrating Flag Day alongside the memory of dignity reflects the unity of meaning and message, where the Jordanian flag symbolizes dignity, sovereignty, and independence, carrying in its colors a rich history of struggle and sacrifices, calling to preserve these national values and instill them in the souls of future generations, drawing on the meanings of dignity in the journey of building and giving.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mubaideen emphasized that the celebration of these national occasions is not limited to recalling the past, but represents an extension of a renewed spirit that enhances the journey of the homeland, pointing out that the Battle of Al-Karamah marked a turning point that restored confidence to the nation and established the position of the Arab Army, and demonstrated that the will and faith in the homeland are stronger than all challenges, and Mubaideen further clarified that celebrating history and its symbols is a celebration of the inclusive national identity, which was formed through honorable struggle milestones, confirming that dignity was not just a military battle, but a complete national condition that redefined the features of strength and dignity in the Jordanian and Arab consciousness, also reviewed the symbolism of the Jordanian flag and its historical evolution since the establishment of the state, explaining the meanings of its colors that reflect the depth of Arab and Islamic history, and its status as a symbol of unity, sovereignty, and independence, emphasizing that the flag is not just a banner raised, but a story of a nation that is told, an identity that is preserved, and the memory of a nation preserved through generations, indicating that dignity and the flag together form a strong link in the consciousness of Jordanians, embodying the meanings of sacrifice and belonging, and reflecting the journey of a nation built on will and determination, calling for inspiration from these values in building the future and enhancing the spirit of national responsibility among the youth.

During his speech, Dr. Al-Widian referred to the fact that this national occasion embodies the meanings of pride and pride in the souls of Jordanians, pointing out that the Battle of Al-Karamah constituted a bright historical milestone that redrawn the features of strength and determination, and proved Jordan's ability, under its Hashemite leadership and its valiant army, to create victory and preserve dignity, recalling the historical role of the deceased His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, may God bless his soul, who led this stage with wisdom and courage, and was close to the fields of honor, believing in the ability of his army and his people to achieve victory, to remain an eternal model in leadership, sacrifice, and commitment to the causes of the homeland and nation, and added that this eternal memory represents a source of inspiration for generations in adhering to the values ​​of belonging and loyalty, and enhances the spirit of national responsibility among the youth, and Al-Widian emphasized the symbolism of the Jordanian flag as a title for sovereignty and unity, confirming that the university is keen to instill these values in the consciousness of its students, and to enhance their connection with the glorious history of their homeland, calling for drawing lessons from dignity in building and progress and stressed in this regard that the memory of dignity and Flag Day will remain a title for national dignity, and a beacon that guides generations in the journey of building and giving, emphasizing that Jordan's journey in dignity and pride continues under the wise Hashemite leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect them and care for them, as a support and extension of the path of glory and building, and confirming that this leadership represents the real guarantee for the future of the homeland and its renaissance.

On his part, Dr. Mohammad bin Tareef, the Dean of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, referred to the fact that Jordanian Flag Day embodies the symbol of sovereignty and national unity, and summarizes in its colors a rich history of struggle and sacrifices that the Jordanians have outlined through their journey, confirming that the flag is not just a banner raised, but it is the title for identity and belonging, and a banner of glory and pride passed down from generation to generation, and he added that celebrating this occasion reflects the depth of the Jordanians' attachment to their homeland and their wise Hashemite leadership, enhancing in the students' souls the values of loyalty and belonging and national responsibility, calling to preserve the symbolism of the flag and its status, and establishing its meanings in the consciousness of the youth to remain fluttering with glory and honor.

The music of the Jordanian Armed Forces presented a distinctive musical performance that opened the national atmosphere of the ceremony, where they played national pieces embodying the meanings of pride and belonging, interacting with the audience noticeably, and the ceremony included national segments that expressed pride in Jordan's glorious history, and recalled the heroics of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, where the poetic poems added an emotional and impactful touch, and the university choir presented musical national paintings reflecting the spirit of loyalty and belonging, and in the context of recalling the national memory, a photo exhibition was held on the sidelines of the ceremony organized by the Directorate of Moral Guidance, which included documentary pictures of the heroes and martyrs of the Battle of Al-Karamah, embodying their sacrifices and heroics, and captivating the audience with the deep significances it carried, reflecting the meanings of sacrifice and sacrifice for the sake of the homeland.
