Khaberni - In line with the vision and mission of Amman Arab University to connect theoretical knowledge with field experience, following the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, the president of Amman Arab University in supporting students in field knowledge areas, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences / Department of Basic, Human, and Scientific Sciences in collaboration with the Student Affairs Deanship organized a scientific visit for a number of students and faculty members to the Jordan Judicial Institute, aiming to expose students to practical experience in preparing and qualifying judicial personnel, supervised by Dr. Anas Al-Trawneh, coordinator of the National Education course, and accompanied by Professor Farhan Al-Hasban, a human rights course teacher.
The program included a comprehensive field tour during which Dr. Al-Trawneh provided a detailed explanation to the students about the role of national institutions in enhancing the rule of law, and accompanied them through various facilities at the Jordan Judicial Institute, aiming to connect theoretical concepts related to the judiciary with their practical functions, and clarify the mechanisms for preparing and qualifying judicial staff. Al-Trawneh emphasized that this field experience contributes to instilling correct concepts of national education in students and enhancing their ability to analyze the Jordanian legal reality and understand its mechanisms more deeply, positively reflecting on the development of their academic and practical skills. In turn, Al-Hasban presented a specialized legal discourse addressing the alignment of national legislation with international human rights standards during various litigation stages, emphasizing that this visit represents a unique opportunity for students to comprehend the assurances of justice and individual rights in a practical manner, through direct observation of the procedures and practices adopted inside the Jordan Judicial Institute.
