President of Amman Arab University receives a delegation from the Qatar Charity Association to discuss prospects for joint coope

Khaberni  - Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Wydian, President of Amman Arab University, received in his office a delegation from the Qatar Charity Association, led by Sheikh Saleh Al-Marri, the CEO's advisor for the association. The meeting aimed to enhance partnership and develop prospects for cooperation in educational and community fields, contributing to the scientific and professional empowerment of students, enhancing their opportunities to join higher education, and sustaining academic and training support. Discussions also covered student support mechanisms and the exchange of experiences, aligned with both parties' mission to serve the community and empower youth. Attendees included: Professor Dr. Hussam Al Hamad, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Professor Dr. Ismail Yamin, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Nadia Al-Qudaimat, Assistant President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Basma Abu Jaber, Director of Practical Education and Community Service Office, Mr. Wadah Msammar, Director of Media and Public Relations Department, Ms. Alaa Obaidat, Director of the President's Office at the University, and from Qatar Charity Association, Mr. Essam Haddad, Financial Director, Mr. Eyad Al-Rashdan, Program Director, and Dr. Sahar Al-Shara, Field Office Specialist and Education File Manager.

Dr. Al-Wydian praised during the meeting the role of the Qatar Charity Association in supporting and empowering students academically and professionally. He confirmed Amman Arab University's keenness to enhance this partnership to serve the students by providing them with quality educational and training opportunities, contributing to the achievement of joint community responsibility goals, and enhancing the university's role in creating an educational environment conducive to innovation and academic excellence. This aligns with the university's vision of serving the community and empowering its members, reflecting its commitment to community responsibility initiatives through supporting deserving groups, providing educational and training opportunities, and actively contributing to sustainable development. He highlighted Amman Arab University’s efforts to promote the concept of community responsibility through its unique Community Responsibility Office among Jordanian universities and provided an overview of the university, pointing to its distinguished academic journey and the development of its programs closely related to labor market needs, and its role in preparing qualified personnel capable of competition locally and regionally, besides its educational environment based on innovation and academic excellence.

For his part, Sheikh Saleh appreciated the efforts of Amman Arab University and its leading role in supporting and preparing students for the labor market. He expressed his pride in cooperating with the university and confirmed the association's aspiration to expand the areas of partnership to achieve its goals in supporting and empowering students in various fields, especially in applied programs, and working on launching joint initiatives that contribute to developing students' skills and enhancing their professional readiness, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and sustainable community responsibility between the two parties. He indicated that Qatar Charity Association is considered one of the leading humanitarian and developmental institutions at the regional and international levels, working on implementing quality programs in the fields of education, sustainable development, and youth empowerment, and confirmed its keenness to launch joint initiatives with Amman Arab University to develop students' skills and enhance their professional readiness, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and sustainable community responsibility between the parties.

The two parties reviewed several strategic axes aimed at developing their future partnership. Discussions included offering academic discounts to students, enhancing the university’s role in community responsibility through implementing quality initiatives and campaigns, in addition to discussing opportunities for student training in cooperation with institutions and companies to hone their skills and prepare them for the labor market. The meeting also addressed ways to support needy students through dedicated programs and cooperating in implementing joint humanitarian events and activities. Additionally, mechanisms for following up on graduates and supporting them after graduation to enhance the sustainability of the educational process were discussed, as well as opportunities to offer scholarships at the bachelor's and master's levels and ways to expand the scope of future joint programs.

This meeting is part of Amman Arab University's efforts to expand its partnerships with regional and international institutions, enhancing its role in serving the community and empowering students, and achieving sustainable development.
