Khaberni - The Lebanese army command has called on citizens to delay their return to the southern villages until the ceasefire agreement comes into effect, and to avoid approaching areas infiltrated by Israeli forces.
The Lebanese army command explained in a statement: "With news circulating about reaching a ceasefire agreement, the army command calls on citizens to delay returning to the southern villages and towns until the agreement takes effect, and advises against approaching areas infiltrated by Israeli occupying forces."
The statement added: "The army command emphasizes the necessity of adhering to the guidelines of the deployed military units to ensure their safety, and to be cautious of unexploded ordnance and suspicious objects left by the Israeli aggression, and to report them to the nearest military center."
US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday the agreement on a ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel for ten days.
The ambassadors of Lebanon and Israel to the United States held direct talks in Washington, the first between the two sides in decades, where they agreed to conduct direct negotiations at a later date.
