Khaberni - The Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic Research Center at Amman Al-Ahliya University, in cooperation with the Consulting and Training Center, held an advanced training course entitled
(Hands-On Molecular Docking and Virtual Screening Workshop)
which took place over 14 training hours across two days during the period from (8 -9 / 4 / 2026); a number of students and researchers from various medical fields both from within and outside the university participated in the course. The aim was to provide the attendees with fundamental skills in the area of Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD), and an understanding of how drugs interact with the body before conducting experiments.
The course was supervised by: (Professor Dr. Belal Al-Najjar, lecturer Mansour Majeed Al-Sayed, and pharmacist Lina Al-Asfour), and the students showed active engagement and a clear interest in the topics of the course, affirming the importance of such specialized training programs in supporting their academic and research journey. At the end of the course, Dr. Mohammad Malkawi - the director of the center - presented certificates to the participants.
