College of Aviation Sciences in Arab Amman Organizes a Workshop on Aviation Legislation and Licensing Standards for Technicians

Khaberni - As part of Arab Amman University's commitment to enhance professional and legislative awareness among its students, and to develop their skills in line with international aviation standards, under guidance from Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, the university president, and with support from Professor Dr. Malik Al-Salem Al-Anaqra, the dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, the college organized a training workshop titled: "Aviation Legislation and Licensing Standards for Technicians, Engineers, and Pilots According to the European Aviation Safety Agency System (EASA)"; presented by Engineer Mustafa Attia from the Middle East Academy of Aviation Sciences, with participation from numerous students from various specialties.

The workshop discussed the most prominent legislation and international standards related to the licensing of technical and engineering staff and pilots according to the (EASA) system, alongside clarifying the requirements to obtain professional licenses approved, and the importance of adhering to these regulations in enhancing air safety and elevating the level of professional performance in the aviation sector. The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the students, who raised many questions and inquiries related to licensing procedures and future career prospects. Engineer Attia provided detailed answers supported by his practical experience in aviation legislation and technical training, which contributed to enhancing the scientific benefits for the participants.

This workshop is part of a series of scientific and practical activities conducted by the College of Aviation Sciences at Arab Amman University, aimed at preparing qualified cadres according to international standards, and enhancing the readiness of students to efficiently integrate into the labor market in the aviation sector.
