Khaberni - Gold prices in the local market rose on Wednesday by 60 piasters per gram for 21 karat, according to the daily pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Jewelry and Gem Trading and Craftsmanship Shops.
The price for a gram of 21 karat gold, the most demanded in the local market, was recorded at 98.1 dinars for selling, and 93.8 dinars for buying, compared to Tuesday's pricing of 97.5 dinars for selling, and 93.2 dinars for buying.
According to the pricing, the selling price for a gram of 24 karat gold reached about 112.3 dinars, against 108.1 dinars for buying, compared to Tuesday's pricing of 111.6 dinars, against 107.4 dinars for buying.
Also, the selling price for a gram of 18 karat gold reached about 86.8 dinars, against 80 dinars for buying compared with 86.8 dinars, against 80 dinars for buying in Tuesday's pricing, while 14 karat was about 67.9 dinars for selling and 59.6 dinars for buying compared with 67.9 dinars for selling and 59.6 dinars for buying in Tuesday's pricing.
