Jordan The Social Security warns its retirees from dealing with brokers

Khaberni - The Social Security Corporation called on its retirees who wish to benefit from the purchase installment program to exclusively deal with the accredited and updated entities within the program that are published on its website.

The corporation confirmed in a press release issued by its media center not to deal or resort to brokers especially via social media for the purpose of benefiting from the purchase installment program, in order to avoid any fraudulent practices that may harm their interests.

The corporation clarified that the list of accredited entities is available through the following link:

And the corporation pointed out that it has ensured that the accredited entities in the program cover a variety of sectors, including food, electronic, electric, medical, and multi-service entities, with the aim of enabling retirees to directly benefit from the program without the need to resort to any external agents or intermediaries.

The corporation stressed the necessity for the retiree to update their basic information through visiting the nearest social security branch to ensure purchasing through the program is completed smoothly.

The corporation explained that the program includes the retiree, widow, or Jordanian parents entitled to a share and residing within the kingdom, allowing them to benefit up to twice the retirement salary or entitled share, with a maximum limit of (2000) dinars.

The installment program allows retirees the possibility of installment purchasing according to the approved merchant, where the number of available installments for each entity is clearly and predeterminedly listed on the institution's website.

The corporation emphasized that it is not responsible for any dealings that occur outside official channels or with unapproved entities, urging retirees to report any suspicious pages or accounts that claim to offer services within the program, to protect their rights and prevent them from falling victim to fraud.
